Quartiere, Bene Comune was set up in 2015, as a response to the failing participation and decentralisation model based on the municipal districts. We have sought to turn a crisis into an opportunity and the community has responded with enthusiasm. Between 2015 and 2019, we signed 27 Citizenship Agreements with over 730 subjects and carried out more than 160 social innovation projects in neighbourhoods serving almost 14,000 users.. |

Since 1997, the Maison du Jardinage has welcomed all gardening enthusiasts, from beginners to passionate.
This resource center dedicated to urban gardening is part of the municipal urban ecology network. Led by a team of specialists, it includes a room for practical activities and exchanges, a specialized library, exhibitions, a greenhouse and a demonstration and experimentation vegetable garden. Advice, training, events, bartering, library, and ideas for all and free of charge.

8 80 Cities is based in Totonto, but organizes study tours in Copenhagen with the aim of inspiring city leaders to “adapt Copenhagen’s best practices for enhancing public life.
The 8 80 Cities website describes : “Copenhagen is a special city. Of all the places in the world, it’s the one city we host a study tour for city leaders year after year, thanks to the generous support of the Knight Foundation.”
“Over the past four years, 8 80 Cities has hosted over 100 American decisionmakers on an annual five-day tour of one of the happiest, healthiest, and most engaged cities in the world. 8 80 cities curates a week of engaging lectures, planning workshops and walking and cycling tour featuring some of Copenhagen’s best and brightest urbanists. Study Tour participants are immersed in Danish culture and experience first hand a city dedicated to putting people first.” |
