Description of the project | Ocupa tu calle (Take over of your Street) is a strategy promoted by the Observatory Lima Cómo Vamos and supported by the AVINA Foundation that seeks to intervene the city by generating more and better public spaces that citizens can enjoy.
Through localized urban interventions, the project promotes the recovery of disused city spaces, the enhancement of existing spaces and the generation of new public places. Thus, through the implementation of parklets, pilot routes, cycle paths, temporary closures of streets and avenues or other interventions, not only a better city is achieved, but relations between citizens and the well-being of the community are fostered. |
