| Description of the project | “The Ashesi Design Lab, or D:Lab, is one of Ashesi’s newest and most exciting initiatives. Founded in September, 2015, the D:Lab specializes in applying design thinking – a powerful problem-solving tool – to complex problems in our community, our society, and our world. Also known as human-centred design, design thinking is all about focusing on “end users,” or the people most directly affected by the problems we look at. By putting people first, our solutions can better meet the needs of these people, the environment, and society in our interconnected world.”
