Name | Millepiani coworking | |
Date | N/A | |
Description of the project | It is a collaborative reality, like few others, which includes: stable enterprises, graphic/design, start up, common citizens, students. It often has difficulty in relating with political and administrative actors, who tend to entrust spaces through public tenders. Millepiani coworking operates in a public space with direct assignment ; it does not pay a rent as there is an agreement with the City Hall for an exchange of services.
Those who work in the coworking pay different fees depending on the activity to cover the costs of the structure. There is an active collaboration with CONFARTIGIANATO, Chamber of Commerce and Porta Futuro (which creates conventions for start-ups) to reach an agreement. The Millepiani coworking also welcomes citizens with ideas to be realized, such as young graduates in archaeology who develop their skills through coworking, unemployed people who are trying to get back into the employment sphere, third sector (a cooperative that works with ALS for the reintegration of disabled people). This collaborative community has created a form of management of the shared resource that is environmentally, economically, socially, and culturally sustainable to ensure its use by the entire community. |
