Description of the project | Rampa Prenestina is a Cultural Association of Social Promotion, which since 2013 has set up a social laboratory formed by artists, art educators and therapists.
The complex was built as a warehouse for the Opera House; it partly changed its use in the late 1960s and was adapted as a school. In the 1970s, the upper floors were used as residential accommodation for evicted families. Following occupation, the third floor was assigned to the Rampi Centre, which started using it for cultural purposes. Currently, the floor is managed by a consortium of resident arts groups, who are taking care of the redevelopment and programming of activities. |
