Description of the project | Hack Manhattan is a non-profit ($100 a month membership granting access to equipment and voting rights), all volunteer space on 14th St. Members of this community are interested in art, craft, electronics, textiles, and technology come together and socialize, work on projects, and share knowledge. Hack Manhattan hosts various workshop, classes, and events where people can learn different skills such as 3D printing, laser cutting, coding, and knitting. Members have access to different equipment and tools – 3D printers, 3-axis mill, router table, soldering stations, sewing machines + sergers, Lathe, Band saw and Bench grinders. | |
