| Description of the project | “Ciudad Propuesta is the research and action area of Laboratorio para la Ciudad focused on the study and strengthening of citizen participation from the neighborhoods, and reimagining how participatory budgets could work better to achieve it. We understand citizen participation as a mechanism to read and narrate the city, as well as to collectively revitalize their communities and territories.
It focuses its efforts on the city’s participatory programs, specifically in collaboration with the areas in charge of these in the city’s participatory budgets: the Neighborhood and Community Improvement and Participatory Budget programs run by the IECM.
